Daytime Operation Hour: (5am to 23pm)

Route Distance from 0 to 3km: 11 RMB
Route Distance from 3 to 10km: 2.1RMB per km plus first 11RMB for first 3km.
Route Distance above 10km: 3.2RMB per km plus first 1okm taxi fare.

Late Night Operation Hour: (23pm to 5am next day)

Route Distance from 0 to 3km: 14 RMB
Route Distance from 3 to 10km: 2.7RMB per km plus first 14RMB for first 3km.
Route Distance above 10km: 4.1RMB per km plus first 1okm taxi fare.

However, as a traveller, you don't need to worry about fee calculation by the above complex system. It all will be done by meter. Ususally, you just need to know total fee from your starting point to destination. Within city, if taxi driver charge you over 200RMB, you may need to be aware about any overcharge incurred.
