Shanghai Qiangsheng Group launched a new service for English-speaking passengers on May 1, 2009.
English-speaking operators will be available via interphone in each of its 7,000 cabs in the city.
Passengers or travellers can talk directly to English operators when there is difficulty communicating with the taxi driver of Qiangsheng.
